Need to Know

The evening is restricted to a small group of max 8 per astronomer and the start time varies according to the time of year to ensure darkness. We generally hold the evenings in the region of SA71 5DR or within a couple of miles. Bookings can be taken for special bespoke group sessions, with the Astronomer travelling to you if requested and if the site is suitable. There are provisions to ensure that even if the weather is a little unaccommodating there will still be opportunities to use the equipment and learn about the skies, but there is a risk of the activity being cancelled in the event of forecast gales or predicted cloud cover. In this instance we will contact you in advance, but please retain your voucher/s as arrangements can be made for you to rearrange for a future date, exchange for an alternative Dark Sky Wales Stargazing Evening, or we can refund less a 10% booking fee.
