Stargazing and Astrophotography – From £55/person

 

 



Ideal for Christmas, Birthdays, Anniversary or just as a special gift!

Take a tour of the night sky, viewing familiar and unfamiliar constellations of the northern hemisphere, find various deep sky objects such as the Orion Nebula and learn the correct use of binoculars and navigation via star maps. You will also be shown how to set up a telescope correctly before viewing and then photographing some of the magnificent sights in the night sky. No prior knowledge or equipment needed, but feel free to bring both!

Couples Evening – From £225

 




Ideal for an intimate evening with a loved one or even for that special occassion! Great for Christmas, Birthdays or Anniversary!

One to One Telescope Tuition – From £200

 

 

Got a telescope, not sure how to set it up correctly or just not feeling confident enough to give to a go, then Dark Sky Wales one to one telescope tuition could be what you need. Astronomers from Dark Sky Wales will show you all the tricks of the trade to get you going. The sessions are based in the Brecon Beacons, Elan Valley and Pembrokeshire. Spanish Observatory 

 

Join Dark Sky Wales astronomers as they team up with Griffon Observatory to provide a truly wonderful stargazing experience. Set in the Grazzelma National Park, Andalucia the Griffon Observatory offers fantastic vista of the night sky amid traditional spanish culture. By day explore the wonders of the National Park and by night gaze upon the cosmos from a warm climate. Shirt sleeve astronomy at its best. Transport from Malaga airport to the observatory, accomodation and observatory fees are included in the price.




Group Stargazing – From £20

 

 

Join astronomers from Dark Sky Wales at the Brecon Beacons Observatory in the heart of Wales first International Dark Sky Reserve. As part of a group you will use the observatories telescope and a variety of portable telescopes located in the grounds. In case of inclement weather astronomical talks will be provided in a warm room located near the observatory.

Stargazing Weekend – From £399


Dark Sky Wales presents a two days of astronomical tuition and observation set in the wonderful dark skies of Staylittle in Mid Wales. The workshop is aimed at all levels of experience with the aim of getting you more accustomed to astronomy, the night sky and taking your own images.

Accommodation

On site there are 6 Running Water Deluxe Wigwam® Cabins, each built and finished to the highest standard for the ultimate glamping experience. Each cabin sleeps up to 4 adults and or a family of 5 and provide the following facilities;
1 double bed and 1 double sofa bed with memory foam mattresses.
En-suite shower room with shower, basin, heated towel rail, toilet, and toilet rolls.
Kitchenette fitted with electric 2 hot plate hob, full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and sink.
Crockery for 4 guests (including cutlery, bowls, dinner plates, side plates, mugs, acrylic tumblers, chopping board, tin opener and wine glasses.
• Pans (includes saucepan, frypan and cooking utensils)
• Dining table and four chairs.
• Electric wall heater
• Flat screen TV; Free Sat & WiFi available

Day 2

The day is left free for you to explore the wonderful scenery of Mid Wales.
